I love Andrei’s courses. I have bought three of them and taken two so far.
As a former college instructor, I know good teaching when I see it. Seriously, not everyone has the gift of teaching, and certainly not everyone who can code knows how to teach coding. My husband is a front-end software engineer at Facebook, an expert of exactly what Andrei’s courses teach, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand half of what he tries to teach me.
When I read Andrei’s article Learn to code in less than 5 months, get hired, and have fun along the way last year, I knew I wanted to take his online course. I’m a writer with a Master degree in Civil Engineering, and I recognized immediately in Andrei’s writing that he is logical, strategic, and can effectively communicate to share his knowledge. His very logical method of becoming a software engineer in five months, including the first month in which he just analyzed his strategy of learning for the remaining four months left a strong impression on me, and I could tell that this guy knew what he was doing and talking about. Through that one article alone, he persuaded me that the tactics he used to become a self-taught developer were effective, and I was further convinced that he is indeed a good communicator, hence a good instructor.
His courses are seriously good! I go through a lot of online resources, and Andrei’s stuff is one of the gems.
